325 Christmas baskets given out in Fremont County yesterday

It was a busy weekend for volunteers helping with the 2019 Fremont County “Christmas Basket Program.” 325 Christmas baskets were given to families in need yesterday, December 22nd, shared Leading Knight of Lander B.P.O.E. Lodge #2317 Kary Sommers.

The first step of the weekend process began Friday afternoon when volunteers hit the pavement and picked up donated gifts from all of the collection bins at businesses throughout Lander.

Volunteers spent Saturday wrapping presents and conversing with special guest, Santa.

The process culminated yesterday, December 22nd, when volunteers gathered around 11:30 am at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Lander to load up and deliver to those in need.
