#Activate10: ‘Angel Tree’ organized for FCSD #25 families in need
Our community is large and wildly diverse, which is at the same time our strength and our weakness. #Activate10 is a movement seeking to increase communication between individuals and organizations across Fremont County and to promote positive action in our communities.
Fremont County School District #25 Social Workers organized an ‘Angel Tree’ for all the struggling families from every school in the district. The tree is located at Teton Therapy in Riverton and is ready for folks who would like to help these families by purchasing Christmas presents for their children.
Each ornament on the tree represents one child from a family. The ornament tag shares the child’s age, gender, and interests or needs. Family numbers are also listed on the tag and will be placed near each other on the tree.
Gifts with their corresponding ornament tag need to be dropped off at Teton Therapy by December 17th so the social workers can distribute them before Christmas break.
“A big thank you to our kind and caring community for their efforts in helping spread the joy of Christmas to families in need.” – FCSD #25 Social Workers
