Aspen Early Learning Center in Riverton hosted their annual Title I STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) Family Night yesterday, December 17th. This years’ family night included a fresh new theme and more community partners, Aspen ELC staff member Courtney Hill noted.

Forty volunteers from sixteen different community partners, and thirty-three Aspen ELC staff members spent the evening immersing over two hundred folks in winter-themed activities.

The STEM stations were set up throughout the school and included sensory activities, family game night, ornament creation, “Building the North Pole,” and more.

Courtney also shared her appreciation for the community partners and Aspen ELC staff for helping give the youngest students a glimpse of STEM careers and opportunities.
