The City of Riverton had between 7 and 13 inches of snow accumulate earlier this week, making travel difficult and for some folks impossible. Snow removal crews have been working on getting streets manageable since the very early morning hours of Monday, according to the City of Riverton’s Facebook page.

You may be wondering when the windrows, aka berms of plowed snow, will be removed from the streets of Riverton. The City of Riverton’s website provides a “Snow Removal Priority Map,” as well as their “Snow and Ice Policy” that was adopted in 2017. Both of those can be viewed by clicking here.
