Community input needed for FCSD #25 virtual learning environment planning
Fremont County School District #25 hopes to have a Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) ready for the 20-21 school year. VLE’s can help students who learn better online or can provide other challenges for students who need more than a traditional classroom setting. “This is about trying to provide the best education you can for students,” Riverton Middle School Principal Brant Nyberg shared.
In August 2019, the Board of Education approved the district to start planning a VLE. Since then, the FCSD #25 administrative team and a few others meet on the last Monday of every month at the central office in Riverton. Our earlier post shared, this meeting is open to the community, and folks are encouraged to attend. Community feedback and input with building the VLE is essential and needed, Brant noted.
The VLE planning team put together a short survey for the community to help them in the planning process. The survey can be completed by clicking here.
