All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Mary Brewer, 31, of Casper, was arrested the evening of November 4th, 2019 after eluding local law enforcement.

Wyoming Highway Patrol received a REDDI report regarding a passenger car traveling at speeds “over 100 mph [miles per hour] and swerving all over the roadway on Highway 789 north of Riverton,” Fremont County Undersheriff Mike Hutchison explained. A Fremont County Sheriff’s Deputy was in the area and reports witnesses shared “the vehicle had just driven through the right of way fence near Bass Lake Road” and returned to the highway headed towards Shoshoni.

Brewer reportedly accelerated to over 100 mph and continued traveling through Shoshoni onto US 20/26. Brewer traveled several miles at the high rate of speed and then abruptly stopped in the middle of the highway.

Brewer was arrested and charged with Driving While Under the Influence, Fleeing or Attempting to Elude, Reckless Driving and Speeding.
