Fremont County Law Enforcement & IPR have one question: Who’s Next?

by | Updated Dec 23, 2019 at 1:25PM

Law Enforcement is working overtime to Save Lives, prevent injuries and murder on our roads.

During the six overtime operations so far in 2019, there have been nearly 2,000 traffic stops and 35 DUI arrests.

Twelve people have died on our roads this year in Fremont County and the Wind River Indian Reservation. Nobody sees it coming until it is too late.  DUI’s so we ask… Who’s Next to… Pay $10,000 for a DUI, lose your job, embarrass your family, leave someone paralyzed or with brain damage, and/or kill a person or family?

YOU CHOOSE NOT TO GO DOWN THAT ROAD!

Fremont County Law Enforcement recommends these safe alternatives to drinking and driving:

  • Remember that it is never OK to drink and drive. Even if you’ve had only one alcoholic beverage, designate a sober driver or plan to use public transportation, taxi or a ride sharing service to get home safely.
  • If you see a drunk driver on the road, contact Fremont County law enforcement or dial 911.
  • Have a friend who is about to drink and drive? Take the keys away and make arrangements to get your friend home safely.

For information about IPR’s work, contact Executive Director Noel Cooper at (307) 856-2821.
