Riverton residents near Aspen and Maple began inquiring about low water pressure and other water-related issues shortly after noon on Saturday.

While some of the issues appear to be resolved, the Riverton Police Department posted on their Facebook page that the break may affect area resident’s water pressure in the near future. RPD also asks residents to not call police about the issue.

There is a water main break at North 16 St E, Maple, and Aspen Streets. This is affecting residences and businesses in town. Our dispatch center has been overloaded with calls regarding this issue.

The City is aware and they are working on the repairs. There is an unknown ETA on repairs. In the mean time please refrain calling the police for this specific situation. If you have an emergency created from this situation however please call.

Thank you for your cooperation and patience.
