The FBI announced that 16-year-old Selena Shelley Faye Not Afraid still has not been located.

The Montana teen was last seen on New Year’s Day at a rest area on I-90 between Billings and Hardin. According to Montana authorities, Not Afraid had left a disabled vehicle and was seen walking through a field near the rest stop.

Multiple outlets, including USA Today, have released that Not Afraid’s parents believe she was abducted. A green Subaru station wagon with Wyoming license plates was seen at the rest area twice during the time frame she disappeared and is a “vehicle of interest” to Montana authorities.

Montana, Wyoming, and South Dakota authorities have searched the area on foot, by horseback, drone, and K-9 units.

Not Afraid is 5’9 and 133 lbs with black hair and brown eyes. She has a scar on her face, near her mouth and a tattoo of a cross on a middle finger.

Anyone with information on Not Afraid’s whereabouts should contact their local authorities or the Big Horn County Sheriff’s Office at 406-665-9780.

Hardin High School students Selena S. Bell classmates came out to rest area in support of her search…
