Native American Film Series @ the Riverton Branch Library

The Riverton Branch Library is starting their 6th annual Native American Film Series with a screening of “We the Animals” October 23rd, 7-9 pm.

Based off of the celebrated semi-autobiographical novel by Justin Torres

“We The Animals” follows the lives of Manny, Joel, and Jonah as they tear their way through childhood and push against the volatile love of their parents. As Manny and Joel grow into versions of their father and Ma dreams of escape, Jonah embraces an imagined world all on his own.
