Ask a basketball fan who Stephen Curry is, and you’ll likely get something like – “NBA MVP, The Golden State Warrior, The best shooter in basketball?”
Ask a basketball fan, outside of Wyoming, ho Kenny Sailors is.
Curry, a six-time NBA all-star, hopes that he can give all basketball fans an answer for that second question. Curry is the Executive Producer of a film called ‘Jump Shot,’ which will document Sailors and his impact to the game. Sailors is widely regarded as the inventor of the jump shot. He was part of the 1943 Wyoming national championship basketball team, and played professionally in the BAA and NBA with the Cleveland Rebels, Chicago Stags, Providence Steamrollers, Philadelphia Warriors, Denver Nuggets, Boston Celtics, and Baltimore Bullets. He died in 2016 at 95 years old.
