October 17th death in Fremont County appears to be missing Missouri man
The Fremont County Coroner’s Office report released this week confirms the body found in Fremont County on October 17th, 2019, is that of 26-year-old Caleb N. Rios. The report lists his manner of death a “suicide,” and cause of death as “severe head trauma due to self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head.”
The description and date of birth on the report match that of the Caleb Nathaniel Rios, the endangered missing veteran from Missouri that was last seen on October 1st, 2019. Rios was reported found deceased in the mountains of Wyoming on October 17th, according to WATE news.
Scanner traffic the morning of October 17th indicated the deceased was found by a passerby in a parking lot at Limestone Mountain south of Lander.
The Fremont County Sheriff’s Office has yet to confirm the information. We will update if more information becomes available.
