All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

20-year-old Joshua Friday was found deceased with a reported “hole in his right lower abdomen” on Tuesday, October 8th, 2019. The Fremont County Coroner’s report confirmed Friday’s manner of death a “homicide” and cause of death as “exsanguination due to sharp force injury.” The coroner’s office explained “exsanguination” means blood loss.

Friday, Lynch and a third person were reportedly drinking during the early morning hours of October 8th at 1315 S. Federal Blvd. Friday and Lynch had a physical altercation while drinking, which allegedly led to Lynch swinging a knife at Friday. The physical altercation was started by Friday, according to the witness.

The coroner’s report also notes Friday’s “relevant toxicology” as ETOH = .211%. Coroner Mark Stratmoen shared that number is above the legal limit, which is why it is included in the report and considered relevant.
