RPD assists two citizens who handcuffed themselves together

Day-to-day police officers arrive at their jobs not knowing fully what to expect. Some days busy, some days slow, some bizarre.

At 12:06 p.m. on Wednesday afternoon, the Riverton Police Department reported that two friends entered the police station, side-by-side.

It was quickly revealed to RPD officers the two had handcuffed themselves together – and couldn’t get the cuffs off.

Luckily the police department knows a thing or two about handcuffs, and were able to free the duo.
