#Smiles: Riverton High School takes top honors at State Drama
Riverton High School’s drama students received top honors in many areas last weekend at the Wyoming State Thespian Festival in Laramie.
RHS won first overall in “Proscenium,” and they took second overall in “Devised Theatre.”
The drama students are instructed by Annette Thornton.
Many individuals took home All-State awards including;
Carolyn Thornton – Two person acting original script one-act group musical, devised play
Shannyn Kreitzer – Two person acting, group musical, devised play
Joseph Thornton – Group acting, Duet musical, group musical, proscenium play, devised play
Hunter DeVries – Duet Musical, Group musical, proscenium play, devised play
Savana Whitehurst – Group acting, monologue, duet musical, proscenium play
Signe Ascanius – Devised play
Eliabeth Pierson – Duet musical, duet acting
Mackenzie Becker – Proscenium play
Brennan Ibach – Proscenium play
Kaia Tippets – Duet acting, Devised play
Abigail Larsen – Group Music, group acting, devised play, proscenium play
Marcelina Jimenez – Novice monologue acting
Matt O’Halleran – Original Script, Two-person play
