“The Art of Home: A Wind River Story” airs on PBS in November

“The Art of Home: A Wind River Story” tells the story of the importance of art in the community, shared film producer Jordan Dresser. The film airs on Wyoming PBS on November 11th and 15th at 8:00 pm.

This is a continuation of the documentary “What Was Ours” that premiered in 2017 and featured Jordan, Mikala SunRhodes and Philbert McLeod. Details about “What Was Ours” can be found here.

Jordan explained “The Art of Home: A Wind River Story” began over a year ago. The film follows Ken Williams and Sarah Ortegon as they return to the Wind River Reservation. More film details can be found here.

The film has had a few showings in Riverton and Lander over the last couple of months. Jordan shared there is a showing at the Lander Art Center on October 24th at 6:00 pm. Jordan also noted the film will be shown in Cody and Boulder, Colorado in the coming months.
