#WhatsHappening: Fireworks, hot cocoa and community celebration
This is a celebration for the community, ‘R’ Recreation Program Director Mary Axthelm shared. Whether you are celebrating the last day of school, the holiday season or just want to come together as a community.
Fireworks begin at 7:00 pm and are sponsored by Mick Pryor, Financial Advisor with Edward Jones. Flying Phoenix has worked hard to put the best display together, Mary noted.

Unfortunately, the ice rink will not be ready for tommorrow night’s festivities. However, everyone is encouraged to bring their sleds and enjoy the evening.
If you’d like to watch the fireworks from Tonkin Stadium, folks are asked to sit on the north bleachers. The Fremont County School District #25 parking lot will be open if you’d like to sit in your car to view them. Main Street below the hill will also be a good spot to see the fireworks.
The ice rink will hopefully be opening Monday, December 23rd at 1:00 pm. You can find the most up-to-date information about the rink on the ‘R’ Recreation Facebook page.
