#whatshappening: Riverton Holiday Festival kicks-off next month

by | Oct 31, 2019 11:57AM

The first ever Riverton Holiday Festival provides residents, businesses and organizations a centralized location to list their public holiday happenings for free. The idea is to boost event attendance, encourage shopping local and bring the community together for a fun holiday season.

Inspired by the amount of holiday activities and the Riverton Parks Committee tree lighting last year; founder and organizer Cameron Fehring realized a central location for advertising and featuring all the events could help people know what’s going on and make decisions about which events they want to attend. “My favorite example is last year there were 14 appearances of Santa, in Riverton alone, but they were not necessarily known about.”

The Riverton Holiday Festival website is up and going so you can easily add your event, view the calendar of happenings and more.

Local sponsors have made the festival website and advertising possible. Click here to see the current sponsors or to become a sponsor.
